The College are delighted to be hosting The Confidence Camp in St Patrick’s College Maghera this Easter.
The camp will be led by Mrs Crilly and Miss McLaughlin, bringing together experience in education and children’s wellbeing to create an encouraging and uplifting day for primary-aged children.
The focus of the day is simple, helping children grow in confidence and self belief, build friendships and feel more secure in themselves. Through positive, age-appropriate activities, children will be encouraged to take part, use their voice and recognise their own strengths, promoting positive inner talk.
Children will leave with simple tools and strategies they can use in everyday life, whether that’s managing worries, speaking up with a little more confidence, or believing in themselves a little more.
To extend the impact beyond the day, so learning can continue, we are also offering an optional parent workshop, sharing practical ways parents can support confidence at home and continue the learning as a family. If you are attending the workshop your children will be supervised.
Even more meaningful, all proceeds will support Charis Cancer Care and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, in partnership with Watty Grahams GAC.
