As the Principal of St Brigid’s Primary School, I extend to you a very warm welcome to our website. Through this platform, we aim to give you a flavour of the pastoral and academic life within our school.
St Brigid’s PS serves the Parish of Lavey, we have 265 pupils and ten classes in our school. We are immensely proud of our reputation for high academic standards, pastoral care, extra-curricular provision and our warm, friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
We have high expectations of our children and have a highly skilled and motivated staff team. Our school motto is ‘Le Chéile in Eolas’ Together in Learning and we enjoy excellent relationships within our school and with our parents, external agencies and the wider community.
The excellent work of our school has been recognised in our last three ETI inspections (2008, 2015 and 2019) and by the many awards which we have received.
