Over the past three weeks, our pupils have been taking part in an exciting Shared Education project with our partner school, Knockloughrim. Together the children enjoyed a range of fun and engaging activities, including problem-solving challenges, PE, and team-building games. They also learned about healthy eating and the importance of making balanced food choices.
In the third week, we rounded off the project with a wonderful coffee morning to raise funds for two very worthy charities, Hope Magherafelt and The Link Maghera. A big thank you to everyone who came along to support us and to McErlain’s and Sperrin bakery for their donations.🧁☕️
We were also delighted to welcome local councillors, who spoke with the children and answered their thoughtful questions about how to improve our local community. At the coffee morning, an amazing £609 was raised. In the afternoon, a further £67.28 was raised at St. Brigid’s Bake Sale and £10 from Knockloughrim’s. It was a fantastic few weeks of learning, teamwork, and community spirit!
