On Thursday, Primary 5 enjoyed their last Roots of Empathy visit from baby Katie. It has been lovely to see Katie meet her new milestones on each of her school visits!
The children have learnt so much about Katie’s temperament and development whilst also learning about themselves and how they interact with others. On Thursday, the children were very excited when they realised that Katie could now crawl. As you can see from the smiles on the children’s faces, they thoroughly enjoy each session.
Together as a class, with their tiny teacher, they reflected on what they have learned. The children made a wish tree for Katie, highlighting what they hope her future will hold. We would like to say a huge thanks to Kathryn for giving up so much of her free time to allow us to carry out the Roots of Empathy programme this year. It is very much appreciated👶🏻💚
