To mark this special week in our school calendar, the Primary 7 pupils visited Our Lady of Mercy Church yesterday (Monday). The theme of the day was ‘Called to Holiness through Prayer’ so we took this opportunity for quiet reflection. We also lit some candles for the special people in our lives who need our prayers.
When we returned to school we created our own prayer cards with our favourite prayer. When we are feeling sad or worried we will be able to use our prayer card and ask for strength and encouragement.
Today’s theme is ‘Called to Holiness through Love and Friendship’ so we have tried our very best to show love and compassion to others by being good friends!
