In Primary Six, we have been learning all about Ireland through our ‘Emerald Isle’ topic. So far, we have worked on our map skills and are able to locate the counties, provinces, rivers and mountains in Ireland.
We have also researched and designed our family coat of arms. In particular, we found the meaning of these crests interesting, and loved hearing about the symbolism they hold.
Last week, we worked in groups to research a county in Northern Ireland. We then presented these to the rest of the class.
We are looking forward to learning more throughout the term 😀
