Today, eight Primary 6 pupils participated in a digital leadership training event hosted by St Mary’s P.S. Glenview. They enjoyed a variety of workshops, equipping them with a range of skills within ICT and the use of Apple technologies.
The activities involved;
✔️Using Keynote to create a digital ‘All about me’ profile.
✔️Coding on laptops to create shapes, patterns and tessellations.
✔️Building a Viking longboat using Minecraft.
✔️Using Sphero to program robots. Pupils had to use their knowledge of shape, direction and angles.
✔️Exploring Augmented Reality as a way of merging the virtual and real world.
Our digital leaders will now share this knowledge with their class and lead ICT development throughout the school. All pupils displayed wonderful ICT skills and interacted so well during the training sessions. 👏
