P2 enjoyed their first of four Shared Education sessions with our partner school Knockloughrim Primary. After spending some time introducing themselves the children participated in a range of activities. They had lots of fun learning how to play traditional playground games and explored the concept of friendship by teaching their new friends some interesting facts about themselves. The children were able to see that they are all special in different ways. They also talked about crossing the road safely and how to identify an appropiate adult to help them.
We look forward to our second session next week!
