To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we were treated to two beautiful assemblies this week. Firstly, Miss Cassidy’s Irish Dancing After Schools Club treated us to some dancing, followed by Peter Hughes who played a beautiful tune on the piano and Mrs Cassidy’s Primary 1 and 2 pupils treated us to a beautiful remediation of Molly Malone. The following day Primary 7 pupils told us the story of St. Patrick which made us reflect on the life he had and how Christianity was spread throughout Ireland. To finish off a lovely morning, one of our P6/7 pupils wowed everyone with her Irish Dancing skills! what a lovely morning we all had celebrating our patron saint.
