Congratulations to our boys gaelic team who were crowned the INTO Derry Gaelic champions!
Throughout the day the team remained unbeaten as they put in top performances in the group stages against Kilrea, Dernaflaw, Gortnaghey, Gaelscoil Eadain Mhoir and Bunscoil Cholmcille.
The boys came first in their group and progressed to play Glen in the semi-final. It was a close encounter but super shooting pointed the boys into the final.
In the final they played Sacred Heart who had also won all of their games. After a shaky start the Mayogall boys were behind but worked their way back into the game with some excellent goals. A last gasp goal sealed the deal as they won by 2 points.
They now go on to represent Derry in the Ulster Gaelic Competition next week in Meadowbank.
