The teams from St Brigid's PS had a great time as they competed in South Derry athletics event at Meadowbank. They enjoyed the well-organised and challenging range of track and field events. The girls' and boys' teams showed determination and their brilliant, competitive performances were rewarded with a significant collection of individual medals. At the final presentation the girls' team took 3rd place and the boys' team picked up the cup for 1st place, resulting in St Brigid's winning the trophy for best performance in the Large Primary Schools section. Thanks to the organisers for arranging the event and congratulations to the girls and boys from St Brigid's on their really remarkable successes.
