NEW SCHOOL DAY

1st Sep 2020

From today, Tuesday 1st September, adults should not accompany children beyond the school gates.  This is to help minimise infection. You are asked not to loiter or linger at the school gates as this blocks access and egress.

Foundation Stage (P1 and 2) children go home this week at 12.15pm

Key Stage 1 (P3 and P4) go home at 2pm

Key Stage 2 (P5,6 and 7)  go home at 3pm

There will be no school crossing patrol at 12.15pm, but Danny will be on duty at 2pm and 3pm.

School Meals: You must pay £2.60 daily in an envelope, with the child's name written clearly on the outside.  Your child drops this into the box outside their classroom; where it is collected by school meals staff.  NO CHANGE CAN BE GIVEN - £2.60 MUST BE PAID DAILY.

We are working hard in St Brigid's PS to protect the integrity of our 'bubbles'.  Please ensure that your child knows how to wash their hands thoroughly and maintain as much social distance as they possibly can.

Pupils will not have homework for the next few weeks in order to minimise materials being transported between home and school - again as an infection control measure.  Similarly we cannot give out birthday party invitations.

Thank you for your consideration and support.
