Our new topic this term in ASC1 is “People who help us!”
We focused on the role of firefighters last week.
We extinguished fires in sensory play, participated in firefighter sensory circuits and completed a range of firefighter themed individual tasks at our 1-1 learning stations. We listened to the story ‘Charlie the Firefighter’ and created a beautiful wall display, collaging our very own Charlie! During Attention Autism, we even experienced a fire storm!
I think we definitely have some future firefighters in ASC1! 👨🚒🔥
